Sparrows World

Sparrows Worldschool

Geoparks as living classrooms.

Sparrows Worldschool turns Geoparks into living classrooms for families. Families come for three weeks, live in the villages, learn from the land and its people, and leave as ambassadors for the place.

Why Geoparks

A Geopark is not a backdrop. It is the curriculum: rocks and rivers, plants and animals, farms, crafts and stories, all within walking distance.

Good for the host region

Families stay in local accommodation, eat with local producers, learn from local guides and craftspeople, and visit in the quieter seasons. The programme is designed to work alongside the Geopark's existing education programmes, not to replace them.

The first Sparrows Worldschool programme is planned for 2027 in the Troodos Mountains, Cyprus, with future destinations to follow.
